A very sad situation. Lot of homes being lost. It's a Great photo, thanks for sharing.
That fire is like our closest one here in North Central NM, Jaroso Fire. Also 8,000 acres as of this morning, but no homes in that Wilderness area that it's burning. No roads into there, and very few trails.

From what I understand, it's making its way through several subdivisions. Last I heard, something like 60 homes had already burned, and they've evacuated several thousand people.
