Chief Hosa, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: I went up the hill to catch a shot of the Continental Divide with newe snow on it, but it was completely obliterated by yet another storm. That is a good thing. We are still said to be in a drought, and they are already talking about this Summer's water restrictions, so I like to see it snow up there. It's how our reservoirs fill and they need it! I missed seeing the big, snowy mountains of the Divide, but I'll take the moisture over he photo any day! At least you can see the storm.

Thanks, Gil! I am hoping we both get lots of
snow, or rain, at least in the mountains!

Hope you get plenty of snow, and any left over, send it down our way. Nice photo.

It is the farmland that needs mositure, and they
are dependent on the snow pack in the mountains
filling our reservoirs when they melt in Spring.
We are still pretty far behind where we need to
be and there have already been two fires this
year and it isn't even officially Spring. March
is usually our biggest snow month, so I hope it
lives up to that! The evergreens looked really
fresh and green because we had a rain shower
go through before I got there. The road was a
muddy mess!

Hope these clouds will let go of their stored cargo of moisture you so badly need!
The evergreens in the foreground look healthy and seem to have gotten enough moisture for the time being!
