Haven't seen any frogs but spring flowers are out in places around Somerset. Daffodils out in Yeovil, crocus out in my town, some of my roses have been flowering since April last year!

Thanks for your comment, Charlotte! The frogs always seem to find a way to survive. What I'm thinking is odd is that a couple of years ago, it was cold enough here for long enough that this pond froze over solidly enough that I could walk on it. Have seen very little ice this winter, and none that lasted a whole day. Our furnace hasn't even turned on for three days now.

I was just thinking the same thing as I listen to the frogs out my window. The problem is that it is now 40 that feels like 37 and they have no warm little hole to crawl into to hibernate because of all our rain. I think maybe up to 15 inches now for the year.
