Special Statement
Issued: 7:36 AM CDT Aug. 19, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Locally dense fog possible through 9 am...

Dense fog over far northwestern Iowa has spread into portions of
west central Iowa. The main areas affected are lower lying areas
of Carroll and Crawford counties. Local visibilities are at or
below a quarter mile at times. This fog is expected to burn off or
lift in the next hour to hour and a half. People traveling in west
central and northwest Iowa this morning should be prepared for low
visibilities at times... especially in low lying areas. Slow down
and be prepared for rapid changes in visibility.
