... Beach hazards statement remains in effect through Sunday
evening...

* waves and surf... surf 3 to 6 feet with occasional sets to 7
feet through Sunday.

* Impacts... dangerous conditions in the surf zone due to elevated
surf and strong rip currents.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current... relax and
float. Do not swim against the current. If able... swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape... face the
shore and call or wave for help.
