... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from noon Friday to 6 am CST
Saturday...

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... sleet... and freezing rain which is in
effect from 12 PM Friday to 6 am CST Saturday.

* Timing... Friday midday through Friday night

* snow accumulations... 1 to 3 inches... highest across northern
Linn and Jones counties.

* Ice accumulations... a glazing to around 0.10 inches.

* Wind... gusts around 30 mph. Northeast on Friday, becoming
northwest Friday evening.

* Temperatures... falling into the upper teens Friday night.

* Visibilities... less than 1 mile at times.

* Impacts... hazardous travel conditions from icy roads.
