* until 1115 am EDT

* at 720 am EDT... Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to
two inches of rain have already fallen. Area creeks and streams
are beginning to show indications of rapid response to runoff.
Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Philadelphia, Trenton, Camden, Gloucester City, Bensalem, Ewing,
Willingboro, Princeton, Florence, Yeadon, Burlington, Bristol,
Riverside, Palmyra, Hatboro, Folcroft, Hightstown, Jenkintown,
Narberth and Bordentown.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
