...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM NOON MDT TODAY THROUGH THURSDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of east central, south central, and southeast
Wyoming, including the following areas, in east central Wyoming,
Converse County Lower Elevations and Niobrara County. In south
central Wyoming, Central Carbon County, Ferris/Seminoe/Shirley
Mountains, North Snowy Range Foothills, Shirley Basin, Southwest
Carbon County and Upper North Platte River Basin. In southeast
Wyoming, Central Laramie County, Central Laramie Range and
Southwest Platte County, East Laramie County, East Platte County,
Goshen County, Laramie Valley, North Laramie Range, South Laramie
Range and South Laramie Range Foothills.

* WHEN...From noon MDT today through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks
and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Torrential Rainfall combined with training Thunderstorms may
lead to rises in creeks, flood low lying areas, and
temporarily overwhelm drainage areas due to excessive run off
from Hydrophobic soils.
