Southwestern Wood County in northwestern West Virginia... North Central Mason County in western West Virginia... * WHEN...Until 1100 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 554 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported widespread flooding due to heavy rainfall from earlier thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Pomeroy, Racine, Coolville, Rutland, New Haven, Mason, Tuppers Plains, Middleport, Chester, Syracuse, Hartford City, Vinton, Cheshire, Darwin, Harrisonville, Lakin, Kyger, and Dexter. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
