Issued: 12:21 PM Apr. 10, 2026 – National Weather Service
.........ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER DANGER TODAY......... Elevated fire weather risks develop late this morning into the afternoon as relative humidity values drop between 20 and 30 percent while southwest wind gusts between 15 and 25 mph. Conditions will improve northwest to southeast this evening as rain overspreads the region ahead of a passing cold front. Please be mindful of open burning, cigarettes, and any machinery that may throw sparks as these can all start a wildfire very efficiently in these dry and breezy conditions. Please adhere to any local burn laws that may be in effect for your area.
