Northwestern Lewis County in northern West Virginia... * WHEN...Until 800 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Some roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 507 AM EDT, emergency management reported between 1 and 3 inches of heavy rain had fell in the warned area on Saturday. Lingering high water remains in some locations. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Leopold, Alum Bridge, Linn, Grove, Troy, Baldwin, Avon and Coxs Mills. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Central Lewis County in northern West Virginia... * WHEN...Until 800 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Some roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 500 AM EDT, doppler radar indicated heavy rain had fell across the warned area on Saturday, ranging anywhere from 1 to 4 inches. Lingering high water is expected across portions of the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Weston, Stonewall Jackson, Burnsville, Sand Run, Walkersville and Horner. - This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 74 and 100.
