* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 27 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast Kentucky, southwest Virginia, and
southern and western West Virginia.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 10 AM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The lowest temperatures will be across the
typical valley cold spots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.

To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
