For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero expected. * WHERE...Eastern Tucker County. * WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, from 8 AM this morning to midnight EST tonight. For the Extreme Cold Warning, from 9 PM this evening to noon EST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Please report downed trees, power lines or large branches by calling 412-262-1988, posting to the NWS Pittsburgh Facebook page, or using X @NWSPittsburgh. Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
