Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. * WHERE...Portions of southwest Virginia and central, northeast, northern, southern, and western West Virginia. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions, including during the evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...While the first round of snow was over, refreeze this evening and another round of snow showers and falling temperatures with an arctic front tonight could still create hazardous travel conditions. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
