...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of northern West Virginia, including the
following areas, Eastern Preston, Eastern Tucker, Marion,
Monongalia, Preston, Ridges of Eastern Monongalia and Northwestern
Preston, Western Tucker and Wetzel.

* WHEN...Until midnight EDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Heavy rain that could exceed 1 to 2 inches per hour from
showers and thunderstorms may lead to flash flooding,
especially on previously saturated grounds.  There is
potential for repeated rounds of these heavy rains over a
given location that may enhance the flash flood potential.
