Freezing rain from earlier in the day remains coated on trees and
power lines across the area, especially on higher terrain.
Winds have increased, putting additional strain on these ice-
coated surfaces. Reports of scattered downed trees and power
outages continue to be received and expect that this risk will
persist through the afternoon. Please exercise caution if driving
in wooded areas and stay clear of any downed power lines or tree
limbs that may be at risk for snapping.
