...EXTREME COLD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST SATURDAY... * WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 to 40 below, with a few spots down to 45 below expected this morning. Daytime wind chill readings today will briefly be around 20 to 30 below before dropping again to around 25 to 35 below tonight into Saturday morning. * WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and northeast Wisconsin. * WHEN...Until 9 AM CST Saturday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 45 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside. Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to drip slowly. &&
