* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Baraboo River near Baraboo.

* WHEN...From late tonight to Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, If Wisconsin River at Portage up to 17
feet also, water approaches gravel of I-39 off ramp to Cascade Mt
Rd. There is widespread flooding of agricultural land.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 14.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
just after midnight tonight to a crest of 18.1 feet early
Tuesday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late
Wednesday morning.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
18.1 feet on 08/13/1980.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT TO EARLY FRIDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding is possible.

* WHERE...Wisconsin River at Portage.

* WHEN...From late tonight to early Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, Floodwaters affect River Shores Road about
3 miles upstream of Portage in the Town of Lewiston and River Oaks
Road about 7 miles downstream of Portage in the Town of Dekorra in
Columbia County. Water over Levee Rd and Tritz Rd. There is
widespread flooding of roads in the Blackhawk Park Area including
West Lake Road...Blackhawk Road and Wood Street. The Blackhawk
Park area is on the south side of the river about 3 miles south of
Portage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 14.9 feet.
- Forecast...Flood stage may be reached just after midnight
tonight.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
