...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...In Minnesota, Pine, South Aitkin, Carlton and southern St. Louis Counties and Wisconsin, Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Sawyer and Washburn Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Red Cliff Band, the St. Croix Band in Burnett County, the Bad River Reservation, the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation, the Fond du Lac Band and the Mille Lacs Band, Hinckley, Lena Lake and, East Lake areas. Other locations including the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Madeline Island. * WHEN...Through Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are forecast through early Thursday morning. This heavy rainfall may fall on top of already saturated soils from other recent heavy rainfall and lead to excessive runoff.
