For the Gale Warning, east winds 15 to 25 kts with gusts up to 35 kts. Waves 3 to 6 ft expected on the Bay and 6 to 10 ft on the Lake. * WHERE...Lake Michigan nearshore waters from Washington Island to Sturgeon Bay, and Central Bay of Green Bay. * WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 8 AM CDT Thursday. For the Gale Warning, from 8 AM to 7 PM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A Small Craft Advisory will likely be needed after the Gale Warning has expired or been cancelled.
