Special Weather Statement
Issued: 8:57 PM Dec. 30, 2025 – National Weather Service
...Snow will impact the evening commute... Snow will continue across the area into early this evening. Overall, snow amounts will be an inch or less in most areas, but with the cold temperatures, the snow will lead to slippery conditions on less traveled and untreated roads. Visibility may be reduced to less than an mile at times. Exercise caution when driving by increasing your following distance and allowing extra time to reach your destination. Snow will begin to taper off over central Wisconsin after 6 pm, but not until after 7 or 8 pm over eastern Wisconsin. Some light lake effect snow showers will linger most of the night over far northern Wisconsin.
