Additional snow and sleet accumulations up to two inches. * WHERE...Price, Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron, Sawyer, and Washburn Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band, the St. Croix Band in Burnett County, the Red Cliff Band, the Bad River Reservation and the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation. Other locations including the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Madeline Island. * WHEN...Until 10 AM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible due to icy roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Freezing rain rates of a tenth up to a quarter of an inch per 3 hours likely early Saturday morning. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Travel is strongly discouraged. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
