...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CDT MONDAY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is ongoing. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Wisconsin, including the following counties, Dodge, Jefferson, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Washington and Waukesha. * WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 529 PM CDT, Emergency management reported ongoing flooding impacts in the warned area due to the Saturday night thunderstorms. Between 8 and 14 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area through tonight. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Fox River Lower at Waukesha. * WHEN...Until Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Water hits the base of Barstow St bridge and Bank St bridge. Corrina Blvd, Buckley St, Baxter St, W Main St is flooded. Water impacts Bank St and E St Paul Ave. Frame Park is flooded. There is widespread flooding around homes in the Bethesda Court area about one half mile south of downtown Waukesha. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 7.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 4:00 PM CDT Sunday was 7.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.3 feet just after midnight tonight. In south central Wisconsin, Columbia, Dane, Green, Green Lake, Iowa, Lafayette, Marquette, Rock and Sauk. In southeast Wisconsin, Dodge, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha. * WHEN...Through Monday morning. * IMPACTS...Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional thunderstorms through tonight will be capable of heavy rainfall.
