* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values of 95 to
100 possible.

* WHERE...In Minnesota, Pine County. In Wisconsin, Ashland,
Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Sawyer, and Washburn Counties. This
includes the Tribal Lands of the St. Croix Band in Burnett County,
the Bad River Reservation, the Red Cliff Band, the Lac Courte
Oreilles Reservation and the Mille Lacs Band, Hinckley and, Lena
Lake areas. Other locations including Madeline Island and the
Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.

* WHEN...From Friday afternoon through Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.
