* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE...Wolf River at New London.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Widespread flooding of shoreline property
is occurring from the New London area to Lake Poygan. Water reaches
the top of the retaining wall in New London. Emergency Management
reports widespread flooding is occurring along the Little Wolf
River into the Wolf River.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 12.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 9:00 PM CDT Friday was 12.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.1 feet
just after midnight tonight.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.8
feet on 04/03/1979.

of the Highway 54 bridge. Many streets in Shiocton are covered with
up to foot of water.
