...NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON FOR PARTS OF CENTRAL INTO NORTHERN WISCONSIN... Dry conditions will lead to near critical fire weather conditions this afternoon. Minimum relative humidity values of 15 to 20 percent are expected with north winds of 10 to 15 mph. Any areas with dry grasses or vegetation that have not greened up yet will be susceptible. Check with the Wisconsin DNR or your local county before attempting any outdoor burning.

The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a Fire Weather Watch for gusty winds and low humidity, which is in effect from Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...Vilas, Oneida, Forest, Florence, Northern Marinette County, Lincoln and Langlade. * TIMING...From Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening. * WINDS...South 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 20 percent. * TEMPERATURES...In the mid to upper 70s. * IMPACTS...Fires will start easily and spread quickly in these conditions.
