A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
Nearshore waters from Port Washington WI to Winthrop Harbor IL...
Lake Michigan from Port Washington WI to Wind Point WI 5 nm off shore
to mid lake...

At 958 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 9 nm west of
South Milwaukee to Oak Creek to near Wind Pt., moving northeast at 25
knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING TO WEDNESDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Fox River Lower near New Munster.

* WHEN...From this evening to Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Water is up to the first floor levels of
some homes in the Town of Wheatland and Village of Salem Lakes
area along Riverside Drive and Shorewood Drive.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 11.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:00 PM CDT Friday was 11.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.9
feet Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
early Wednesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
11.7 feet on 05/10/2019.
