Floodwaters spread over low spots on Blackhawk Island Road in the area where the Rock River enters the lake. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 10.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 AM CDT Tuesday was 10.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 8.8 feet Tuesday, May 12. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.1 feet on 03/30/2011. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood && River forecasts are available for some but not all river gaging locations.
