...ICE STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Freezing rain. Snow and sleet mix at times. Ice
accumulations up to three tenths of an inch. Additional snow and
sleet accumulations up to two inches.

* WHERE...Price, Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron, Sawyer,
and Washburn Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the
northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band, the St. Croix Band
in Burnett County, the Red Cliff Band, the Bad River Reservation
and the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation. Other locations including
the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Madeline Island.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice.
Travel could be nearly impossible due to icy roads.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Freezing rain rates of a tenth up to a
quarter of an inch per 3 hours likely early Saturday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Travel is strongly discouraged. If you must travel, keep an extra
flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

Warning, east winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt and
waves 7 to 10 ft expected.

* WHERE...Duluth MN to Port Wing WI and Port Wing to Sand Island
WI.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 1 AM CDT Saturday.
For the Gale Warning, from 1 AM to 10 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
