Scattered snow showers will produce moderate to heavy bursts of
snow with gusty winds of 30 to 40 mph at times through early this
evening. These snow showers will occasionally reduce visibilities
below one half of a mile.

Although significant accumulations are not expected, the sudden
reduction in visibilities and gusty winds could impact travel
through the early evening. Motorists should exercise caution when
traveling, especially during the evening commute.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wolf River at New London.

* WHEN...Until Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 10.1 feet, Flood waters begin to cover portions of
West Wolf River Avenue downstream of New London. Widespread lowland
flooding is occurring from New London to Fremont.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 9.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 10:00 AM CDT Monday was 9.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.0 feet
just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage
early Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Flood waters begin to approach homes near
the river in the Shiocton area. This mainly includes homes along
Island and Mill Streets. Many seasonal structures are surrounded by
water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 12.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 7:30 AM CDT Monday was 12.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.8 feet
early Tuesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
