...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northern Iowa County in south central Wisconsin... Southwestern Sauk County in south central Wisconsin... * WHEN...Until 300 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1202 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Spring Green, Barneveld, Highland, Arena, Plain, Avoca, Clyde, Governor Dodge St Park, Blackhawk Lake Rec Area and Blue Mound St Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... In south central Wisconsin, Columbia, Green Lake, Marquette and Sauk. In southeast Wisconsin, Dodge, Ozaukee and Washington. * WHEN...From 1 AM CDT Saturday through Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding and flash flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Widespread and prolonged showers and storms will bring rain accumulations of 1-3 inches.
