* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, mixed precipitation.
Additional snow and sleet accumulations up to one inch and ice
accumulations around a light glaze. For the Winter Storm Watch,
heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow accumulations up to
one inch and ice accumulations around three tenths of an inch
possible.

* WHERE...Burnett, Sawyer, and Washburn Counties. This includes the
Tribal Lands of the St. Croix Band in Burnett County and the Lac
Courte Oreilles Reservation.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 1 AM CDT Friday. For
the Winter Storm Watch, from Friday afternoon through Saturday
morning.

* IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice.
Travel could be nearly impossible. The hazardous conditions could
impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The majority of the snowfall is expected to
fall during the daytime hours. With the high sun angle and
temperatures hovering just above freezing, snowfall will have a
difficult time accumulating on warm surfaces leading to a slushy
mess.
