Special Weather Statement
Issued: 10:11 PM Jan. 22, 2026 – National Weather Service
...REDUCED VISIBILITY IN SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS THIS EVENING... Scattered snow showers are producing locally reduced visibilities to 1/2 mile or less across the region this afternoon. Rapid drops in visibility may occur within the span of a few minutes. Although snow accumulations are very light, they are still producing some slippery roads. Gusty west to northwest winds to 25 to 30 mph are also resulting in minor blowing and drifting of the new snowfall. If traveling this afternoon into this evening, be prepared for reduced visibility and slippery roads at times, especially in more open and less forested areas.
