A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Central and Southern Bay of Green Bay... At 239 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 27 nm northwest of Crivitz to 8 nm west of Marinette to 9 nm southeast of Oconto, moving northeast at 40 knots. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Peshtigo Reef Light and Marinette around 245 AM CDT. Sherwood Point Light around 250 AM CDT. Chambers Island and Egg Harbor around 305 AM CDT. Eagle Bluff Light around 315 AM CDT. Sister Bay around 320 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by strong thunderstorms include Sister Bay. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. &&

...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON SATURDAY TO 7 PM CDT MONDAY... * WHAT...Heat index values of 95 to 105 expected Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon, with values of 90 to 95 on Monday afternoon. The highest heat indexes will occur from central Wisconsin to northeast Wisconsin. Low temperatures in the mid to upper 70s Saturday night and Sunday night will provide minimal relief from the heat and humidity. * WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, and northeast Wisconsin. * WHEN...From noon Saturday to 7 PM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
