Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. * WHERE...Ashland, Bayfield, and Iron Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Red Cliff Band, the Bad River Reservation and the northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band. Other locations including the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Madeline Island. * WHEN...Until 6 AM CST early this morning. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution while traveling. Call 511 or visit www.511wi.gov for Wisconsin road information. Lake effect snow bands and showers are expected to create conditions ranging from locally heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can also vary greatly. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather, visibility, and road conditions. &&

For the Heavy Freezing Spray Warning, heavy freezing spray at a rate of 2 cm per hour or greater may rapidly accumulate on vessels. For the Gale Watch, west winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and waves 5 to 8 ft possible. * WHERE...Portions of Lake Superior. * WHEN...For the Gale Warning, until 4 AM CST Friday. For the Heavy Freezing Spray Warning, until 7 AM CST Friday. For the Gale Watch, from Saturday morning through late Saturday night. * IMPACTS...Operating a vessel in heavy freezing spray is hazardous. Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic components inoperative. Rapid ice accretion on decks and superstructures may result in a catastrophic loss of stability. Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
