Special Weather Statement
Issued: 9:54 PM Nov. 9, 2025 – National Weather Service
...SNOW SHOWERS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN DOOR COUNTY UNTIL 430 PM CST... At 354 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking snow showers along a line from 8 miles southwest of Egg Harbor to 12 miles southeast of Sturgeon Bay, moving south at 20 mph. Visibilities in some of the heavier snow showers will drop below one mile, and at times briefly down to around 1/2 mile or less. The combination of wet roads, the new snow and pavement temperatures expected to fall below freezing could cause roads to become slippery again after sunset. Locations impacted include... Sturgeon Bay, Jacksonport, Egg Harbor, Whitefish Bay, Forestville, Clay Banks, Institute, Potawatomi State Park, Carlsville, Valmy, Vignes, Maplewood, Carnot, Whitefish Dunes State Park and Kolberg. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If you encounter heavier snow showers, slow down and use your low beam headlights. After sunset, be on the alert for slippery conditions as pavement temperatures are expected to fall below freezing. && TIME...MOT...LOC 2150Z 12DEG 19KT 4499 8744 4481 8734 4470 8719
