...SNOW SHOWERS AND GUSTY WINDS WILL PROVIDE BRIEF PERIODS OF VISIBILITY RESTRICTIONS... Scattered snow showers will produce moderate to heavy bursts of snow with gusty winds of 30 to 40 mph at times through early this evening. These snow showers will occasionally reduce visibilities below one half of a mile. Although significant accumulations are not expected, the sudden reduction in visibilities and gusty winds could impact travel through the early evening. Motorists should exercise caution when traveling, especially during the evening commute.

For the Small Craft Advisory, north winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt and waves 1 to 4 ft expected. * WHERE...Central and Southern Bay of Green Bay, and Lake Michigan nearshore waters from Washington Island to Sturgeon Bay. * WHEN...For the Gale Warning, until 7 PM CDT this evening. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 7 PM this evening to 1 AM CDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
