Total snow accumulations between 10 and 26 inches except between 13 and 25 inches for northern and east-central Ashland County and between 18 and 30 inches for northern Iron County. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. * WHERE...Ashland and Iron Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Bad River Reservation and the northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band. Other locations including Madeline Island. * WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 AM CST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
