PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

If you have access to air conditioning, use it, or find a location
that does. Even a few hours in a cool location can lower risk. Fans
may not be adequate.

Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from
Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening.

* Affected Area: Methow Valley (Zone 704), Foothills of Central
Washington Cascades (Zone 705) and Waterville Plateau (Zone
706).

* Winds: West 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* Relative Humidities: 15 to 20 percent.

* Impacts: Rapid fire spread is likely with any new fires.
