* WHAT...For the Gale Warning, southeast winds 30 to 40 kt with
gusts up to 45 kt. For the Small Craft Advisory, south winds 20
to 30 kt and seas 13 to 18 ft.

* WHERE...Coastal Waters from Cape Flattery to Cape Shoalwater
out to 60 nm.

* WHEN...For the Gale Warning, until 4 PM PST Sunday. For the
Small Craft Advisory, from 4 PM Sunday to 4 PM PST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Seas will remain elevated at 20 to 25 ft
across the outer coastal waters through Sunday afternoon with a
predominant southerly direction before gradually easing into
Monday. Winds will ease across the coastal waters throughout the
day Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.
