...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 10 PM PDT WEDNESDAY FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 701, 702, AND 709... * Affected Area: Foothills of Northeast Washington (Zone 701), Colville Reservation (Zone 702), Eastern Columbia Basin - Palouse -Spokane Area (Zone 708) and Lower Palouse -Snake River (Zone 709). * Winds: Southwest 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * Relative Humidities: 12 to 20 percent. * Impacts: Rapid fire spread is likely with any new or ongoing fires. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly.
