...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 3 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Minor coastal flooding expected. Inundation of two to three feet above ground level is possible along shorelines and low-lying coastal areas. * WHERE...Eastern Strait of Juan de Fuca and Western Strait of Juan de Fuca zones. * WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 3 PM PST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Minor coastal flooding due to tidal overflow is expected around high tide. This may lead to flooding of parking lots, parks, and roads, with only isolated road closures expected. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Inundation above ground level refers to the height above the Mean Higher High Water (MHHW) level. &&

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST THIS MORNING... ...GALE WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 3 AM PST FRIDAY... * WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, southeast winds 20 to 30 kt. For the Gale Warning, south winds 20 to 30 kt, with gusts to 40 kt, becoming west this afternoon. * WHERE...East Entrance U. S. Waters Strait Of Juan De Fuca. * WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 10 AM PST this morning. For the Gale Warning, from 10 AM this morning to 3 AM PST Friday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions. &&
