* WHAT...No flooding is currently forecast.

* WHERE...Snoqualmie River near Snoqualmie Falls.

* WHEN...Until late this evening.

* IMPACTS...At 12,000.0 cfs, the Snoqualmie River will spill over
its banks between the town of Snoqualmie and Fall City...covering
pasture lands and several roads along the river. This river level
on the Snoqualmie corresponds roughly to a phase 2 flood in the
King County flood system.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:30 PM PST Wednesday the flow was 17,900.0 cfs.
- Flood flow is 20,000.0 cfs.
- Forecast...The river fell below flood flow around 1 p.m. and
will continue to fall. Flooding will continue until the flood
wave makes its way downstream out of the area.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Snoqualmie River near Carnation.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 56.0 feet, the Snoqualmie River will cause widespread
flooding from Fall City downstream through Carnation and Duvall...
inundating much of the farm land and numerous roads.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:15 PM PST Wednesday the stage was 55.9 feet.
- Flood stage is 54.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 56.5 feet late this
evening. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning
to 50.5 feet late tomorrow evening.

...HEAVY RAINFALL ON WILL LEAD TO AN INCREASED THREAT OF
LANDSLIDES IN WESTERN WASHINGTON...

Significant rainfall over the past week has increased soil moisture
to high levels across western Washington. Additional rainfall of 1
to 2 inches is expected through Friday. This amount of rain will
continue to put extra pressure on soil instability, leading to an
increased threat of landslides and debris flows, especially from
recent burned areas, with this new rainfall acting as a trigger.

Numerous landslides have already occurred in Whatcom, Skagit, King
Counties and others. More landslides continue to be possible.

Areas most susceptible to landslides debris flows under these
conditions are steep coastal bluffs, other steep hillsides or
road cuts, and recent burned areas. A diminishing threat of
landslides and debris flows will continue for several days after
the rain ends.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Cedar River near Landsburg.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 5.7 feet, the Cedar River will cause flooding from
Landsburg downstream through Maplewood. Swift waters will flood
roads and some residential areas, especially in Maple Valley.
Flooding threatens Beyers Road. A stage of 5.7 feet on the Cedar
River corresponds roughly to a phase 4 flood in the King County
flood system.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:45 PM PST Wednesday the stage was 6.1 feet.
- Flood stage is 5.7 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 2:45 PM PST Wednesday was 6.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to remain above flood stage
for the next several days while slowly receding.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...White River at R Street Bridge.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 10,000.0 cfs, River flooding may occur upstream of
the A Street Bridge in the City of Auburn. River levels will
likely be up against the temporary flood protection barriers, with
flooding likely at Government Canal and Butte Avenue in the City
of Pacific and downstream of the Stewart Street Bridge in the City
of Sumner.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:45 PM PST Wednesday the flow was 8,140.0 cfs.
- Flood flow is 7,500.0 cfs.
- Forecast...The river is expected to stay steady or slowly
rise to 8500 cfs Friday morning, remaining above flood flow.
Additional rises are likely thereafter but the timing is yet
to be determined.

- At 2:15 PM PST Wednesday the stage was 14.5 feet.
- Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 2:15 PM PST Wednesday was 14.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fluctuate near 14.0 to
14.5 feet through tomorrow, then slowly begin to recede for
the next several days.

* WHERE...Green River near Auburn.

* IMPACTS...At 9,000.0 cfs, the Green River will flood low areas of
the middle Green River valley with water over SE Green Valley Rd.
Some backwater inundation is possible in lower Mill Creek basin
between Auburn and Kent. A flow of 9000 cfs feet on the Green
River corresponds to a phase 3 flood in the King County flood
system.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:45 PM PST Wednesday the flow was 9,550.0 cfs.
- Flood flow is 9,000.0 cfs.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9,900
cfs late tonight then slowly drift lower over the next
several days but remain above flood flow.

...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Washington,
including the following counties, in northwest Washington, Grays
Harbor and Skagit. In west central Washington, King, Pierce and
Thurston.

* WHEN...Through Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may
become clogged with debris. Area creeks and streams are running
high and could flood with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- With rivers running high and with another rain event
tomorrow, uncertainty in how much rain, the snow fall level,
and snow melt, leaves the possibility of further flooding.

This includes the Chehalis, Cedar, White, Green, and Skagit
Rivers.

- Dam operations in managin the flood waters in reservoir
will also river levelsmultiple times over the next few days.
