* WHAT...Southwest winds 20 to 45 mph with gusts of 50 to 65 mph
expected. Isolated gusts up to 75 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of North and North Central Idaho and Central,
East Central, North Central, Northeast, and Southeast Washington.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM PST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM PST THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of North Idaho, including the following county,
Latah and Southeast Washington, including the following county,
Whitman.

* WHEN...Until 1100 AM PST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
River or stream flows are elevated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 517 AM PST, Gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 0.3 and 0.6 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Pullman, Moscow, Troy, Potlatch, Deary, Bovill, Palouse,
Joel, Harvard, Viola, Helmer and Princeton.
