Ponding of water on portions of Grand Ave near Missouri Flat Creek. Flooding in portions of Spring Street Skate Park, the City Palyfields, and the Pullman RV Park. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:15 AM PDT Saturday the stage was 8.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 5.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:15 AM PDT Saturday was 8.1 feet. - Forecast...The river will oscillate above flood stage with a maximum value of 8.2 feet early this morning. ...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 PM PDT THIS AFTERNOON... ...REPLACES FLOOD ADVISORY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt is expected. * WHERE...Portions of Idaho, including the following counties, Latah, Lewis and Nez Perce and Southeast Washington, including the following counties, Asotin, Garfield and Whitman. * WHEN...Until 145 PM PDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1215 AM PDT, rain and snowmelt is occurring, and will cause flooding. Between 0.5 and 0.75 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are possible in the warned area through this afternoon. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Water will approach the home on Main Street near Hayton Greene Park. Lions Club Park in Palouse will be submerged and water will be around the playground at the Hayton Greene Park. At 17.0 feet, Widespread extensive lowland and field flooding between Potlatch Junction Idaho and Palouse Washington, including near portions of Highway 272 near Palouse, and west to Tidwell Road and Highway 27. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:30 PM PDT Friday the stage was 12.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Saturday morning and crest around 16.8 feet late Saturday morning.
