...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY FOR MINOR TIDAL OVERFLOW IN EFFECT FROM
10 AM TO 2 PM PST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Tidal overflow flooding expected.

* WHERE...Clatsop and Tillamook Coast, and South Washington
Coast.

* WHEN...From 10 AM to 2 PM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding, up to one foot above ground level,
during high tides is expected in the low lying areas near bays,
sloughs, and the lower reaches of the coastal rivers.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The tidal gauge at Toke Point has a
forecast tides of up to 11.8 feet, while the tidal gauge at
Garibaldi has a forecast tide up to 10.8 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Coastal Flood Advisory means that tidal overflow flooding is
expected. Coastal residents in the warned area should be alert
for rising water, and take appropriate action to protect life and
property.

* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, seas 8 to 13 ft at 13
seconds and southeast winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt
expected. For the Gale Watch, seas 9 to 14 ft at 12 seconds
and south winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt possible.

* WHERE...Coastal waters from Cape Shoalwater WA to Cape Falcon
OR out 10 NM.

* WHEN...Small Craft Advisory, from 1 AM to 7 PM PST Saturday.
Gale Watch, from Saturday evening through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Watch is issued when the risk of gale force winds of 34 to
