For the Gale Watch, southeast winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts to 40 kt possible. * WHERE...Northern Inland Waters Including The San Juan Islands. * WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, from 4 AM Saturday to midnight PST Saturday night. For the Gale Watch, from late Saturday night through Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Gale Watch is issued when the risk of gale force winds of 34 to 47 knots has significantly increased, but the specific timing and/or location is still uncertain. It is intended to provide additional lead time for mariners who may wish to consider altering their plans. &&

Inundation of 1.5 to 2.5 feet above ground level is possible along shorelines and low-lying coastal areas. For the Coastal Flood Watch, significant coastal flooding possible. Inundation of 2 to 3 feet above ground level is possible along shorelines and low-lying coastal areas. * WHERE...San Juan County and Lowlands of Western Whatcom County zones. * WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 5 AM to 9 AM PST Saturday. For the Coastal Flood Watch, Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure may be inundated. Some shoreline erosion may occur. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. &&
