Significant cooling expected overnight. * WHERE...Greater Vancouver Metro, Lower Columbia River and Cowlitz River Valleys, Inner Portland Metro, and East Portland Metro. * WHEN...From 8 AM to 11 PM PDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is around 5% chance of high temperatures of 95 degrees or greater in urban areas around the Portland-Metro area. Overall Moderate HeatRisk with relieving cooling temperatures overnight. Highs will be near record breaking temperatures for this time of year. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in a cool place during the heat of the day, stay out of the sunshine, and check up on relatives and neighbors. For those without air conditioning, use fans to keep air moving. Keeps windows closed during the day and open at night. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Seas 6 ft. Second Strong Ebb current of 5.7 kt at 613 AM Sunday. Seas 8 ft. Third Ebb current of 2.99 kt at 641 PM Sunday. Seas 7 to 8 ft. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
