The Southwest Clean Air Agency has continued an Air Quality Advisory,
which is IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT THIS EVENING.

An Air Quality Advisory for Smoke remains in effect. Wildfires
burning in the region combined with forecasted conditions will
cause air quality to reach unhealthy levels due to smoke at
times through 11 PM PDT this evening.

Pollutants in smoke can cause burning eyes, runny nose, aggravate
heart and lung diseases, and aggravate other serious health
problems. Limit outdoor activities and keep children indoors if it
is smoky. Please follow medical advice if you have a heart or lung
condition.

...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Afternoon high temperatures of 88 to 93 degrees.


* WHERE...In Oregon, Lower Columbia River County. In Washington,
Cowlitz County Lowlands and South Washington Cascade Foothills
Counties.

* WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wildfire smoke continues west of the Cascades
over northwest Oregon and southwest Washington, which may limit
high temperatures by approximately 1-3 degrees. However,
temperatures will still be hot enough to bring an increased risk
ofheat-related illnesses even if temperatures are dampened a few
degrees from smoke.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
