For the Hazardous Seas Warning, very steep and hazardous seas 11 to 16 ft at 15 seconds and south winds 20 to 30 kt expected. * WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar. * WHEN...Small Craft Advisory, until 4 PM PST Wednesday. Hazardous Seas Warning, from 4 PM Wednesday to 7 PM PST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or cause damage to vessels. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...First ebb current of 2.08 kt at 1154 PM Tuesday. Seas 10 to 12 ft. Second ebb current of 5.41 kt at 1233 PM Wednesday. Seas 9 to 10 ft. Third ebb current of 2.22 kt at 112 AM Thursday. Seas 12 to 14 ft. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Hazardous Seas Warning means hazardous sea conditions are imminent or occurring. Recreational boaters should remain in port, or take shelter until waves subside.
