* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, rough bar conditions
expected with seas 10 to 12 ft at 12 seconds and south winds 15
to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt. For the Hazardous Seas Warning,
very steep and hazardous seas 11 to 16 ft at 15 seconds and
south winds 20 to 30 kt expected.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...Small Craft Advisory, until 4 PM PST Wednesday.
Hazardous Seas Warning, from 4 PM Wednesday to 7 PM PST
Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or cause
damage to vessels.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...First ebb current of 2.08 kt at 1154 PM
Tuesday. Seas 10 to 12 ft. Second ebb current of 5.41 kt at 1233
PM Wednesday. Seas 9 to 10 ft. Third ebb current of 2.22 kt at
112 AM Thursday. Seas 12 to 14 ft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Hazardous Seas Warning means hazardous sea conditions are
imminent or occurring. Recreational boaters should remain in
port, or take shelter until waves subside.  Commercial vessels
should prepare for rough seas and consider remaining in port or
taking shelter in port until hazardous seas subside.
